‘Tis the season for tricks and treats! But it’s been a year and we’re only in the mood for treats right now. No more tricks, pretty please. So we’re forcing ourselves to still celebrate one of the most fun nights of the year by dressing up, staying home and treating ourselves to scary movies and lots of candy. Dressing up (even if it’s just dressing up for yourself) will brighten your mood and lift your spooky spirits! We promise. So in case you need some last-minute inspo, we rounded up a few of our fave costumes we found on Instagram.
@daynabolden
I-con-ic. Dayna said in her caption, “The moment we saw @QueenAndSlim movie we knew that we would recreate their iconic looks for Halloween! Did we nail it?” Yes, Dayna. YES, you did.
@sydnesummer
Skipping Halloween? Ugh, as if! We’re in love with this cute Clueless group costume and we bet you can probably find some pieces in your closet to dress up as Cher, Dionne or Thai, too.
@newdarlings
Don’t think twice, it’s all Bob Dylan. (You know where we were going with that…) Is this family costume adorable and fun or what? Christina and her family channeled their favorite Dylans from 1962, 1966 and 1975, and they totally pulled it off.
@krystledesantos
Ok, not going to lie, it was VERY difficult to choose just one of Krystle’s costumes to feature because she has a few cute ones on her Instagram! But we’re suckers for an amazing Frida Kahlo costume and this one is perfect.
@abeautifulmess
Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Did he show up? Omg Beetlejuice is here and she’s an adorable little kid. We love it.
@samvanhelden
Long live Cher. And long live this costume! Sam is recreating a bunch of Cher’s looks from Clueless on her Instagram and we had to do a double-take when we saw this costume. So. Good.
@miss.kookie.munster
Boop-oop-a-doop! Ok, this Betty Boop costume made us want to cancel our other costume plans and go out and get a red dress because this is such an A+ look.
Sadly, Halloween is only once a year. But we’re still going to dress our best for the rest of 2020 and we found some Fun Fall Dresses We’re Loving Right Now.
